plymlad replied to the topic Re: simple diary of a plant in the forum.Hi guys, hope you are well.
Have been looking through the forums recently to try and get a balance of nutrients, room temp, light. All weighed up against the crop.
I think understand perfectly that ripened fruits remaining on the plant will sap vital nutrients intended for other fruits and perhaps this would have a bearing on fruit size too. I've also had the odd few leaves dropping off when the plant needs feeding.
Question for you, when can I (or should I in your opinion) look at re-potting to encourage a larger plant. At the same time I wish to make it a little bushier so when would be a good time to prune back? In the meantime I'll check out some other threads.
Thread update, 'eres a photo or two!

Just the bare minimum of an update, the plant is doing well after a month or so of getting a little too cold perhaps. It started to flower mid-way through February so had to relocate the thing to some proper sun.
Here's how it is now...

Something I'm going to be doing a little research on will be to investigate why two of the fruits are mutated. Last season there was a single one with the problem and now I have two out of five currently growing chillis which are mutated. Sorry, mutated is the first word to pop into my head - call it what you like.
