Hi all, just a quick introduction. I'm Clare, and I live in West Wales. I've got a serious chilli addiction, and started growing chillies about three years ago, after falling in love with Caribbean food but being unable to find habeneros/scotch bonnets anywhere locally. I've been incredibly lucky with my plants, and now enjoy having my own dried and fresh chillies to hand whenever I want them! I grow my little darlings on a south facing windowsill, two to a pot (which seems to go against everything I've read, but they thrive!) and have new chillies to harvest 12 months of the year. As I type, there are at least a dozen new chillies on one of my 2 year old habs, and some pyramids too. I also grow cayennes, and this year I'm trying some aji limon for a change. I have a polytunnel, so will be experimenting with chillies in there too, as sweet peppers did really well last year. I'm an accidental gardener, and am hoping to pick up some tips from you guys, as well as passing on any hints I find that work!
