Paul - Yep I agree. Joined Landshare over a year ago to try and get some outside space, to no avail and have been on the local waiting list for an alotment since 2004! So it's a big window sill/box and a table infront of a big victorian window for now.
The system is currently running great and has been since Saturday - fingers crossed it stays that way!

Just to let everyone know I will only be using the the irrigation system whilst on holiday (and the current weeks testing period - to ensure it works out ok) as my plant's will not really be getting enough day light. Then again I could get some LED lights.....? Maybe for the winter....

Hi there. Just joined up. I live in Surbiton in south London (where the Good Life was set) and am currently growing about 34 chilli plants of a number of varieties including Cayenne, Long Slim Cayenne, Tabasco, Fresno, Tepin, Santa Fe Grand, Bhut Jolokia and Twilight. Nearly everything germinated this year and they are growing nicely; just need a bit more sun!
