Me too - I have tiny white bugs taht are about 2mm long no wings living on my plants. They've done a lot of damage to mine though - leaves looking very worn and brown around the edges now. Definately not greenfly what I have, but not sure what it is or how to tackle it.....

yep-kill the feckers!
these bugs will only eat the buds & flowers so get rid, whether manually squishing, or by spraying with a decent bugkiller spray.

I also had little White bugs all over my beloved bhut jolokia plants tried Brushing them off and spraying with pesticide but only need one left behind and they will breed like wild fire and eat all the fresh new shoots little swines they are. In the end the only way I got rid of them was when I cut the plant back for over winter.

Yes, I also have the same problem... I get the usual aphids, green and black fly and also little white wingless ones that I think may be scale insects (Hemiptera). They are kind of crunchy when you squish or scrape them off leaves.

I have been using weak spray solutions of an organic insecticide called SBPI, or SB Plant Invigorator, which works well as both a decent foliar feed and organic insecticide/miticide, but doesn't look like it will completely solve the problem.
Plus I am only spraying my wintering plants indoors, I don't like spraying anything in the garden so come summer it'll be bug central again... they don't seem to have much of an effect on fruit production though as long as I stay on top of them and keep up the manual squishing!
