Just wondering if we have any other spider lovers in the group?
I have 7 at the moment, a Bourgandy Goliath(F), Martineque pinktoe(F), Greenbottle Blue(f), Chilli Rose rcf(f), venezuelan suntiger(j) a Togo Starburst(j)and a Chaco Golden Knee (j).
Had a fun afternoon rehousing the suntiger and starburst today, very quick and not very friendly, lol.
Or, does anyone have any other unusual pets?

Spiders scare me to death... I think its the legs, but my sister loved them, and kept terrorising me with them when I was younger

My girlfriend's the same, always makes me put heavy books on their containers, "just to make sure they can't push the lids off and eat me", lol.

I do find how they are active hunters fascinating, unlike a trap door or garden spider... even if they make my skin crawl.

We have two tortoises in our house. They live in a desk which was converted to a secure run for them, out in the conservatory where it's light and warm.

Very, very friendly creatures!

I can spend hrs watching them at feeding time, stalking around their containers, sneeking up on an unwarey locust. The Goliath's a bit more up front about it though, brutal, lol.
How long have you had the tortoises? I know they're very long lived. Did you see the story about the old boy, 90 odd, had his since he was about 12, then some bastard stole it the other week. Made me so mad, felt so bad for him.
