why did I click on the picture!? That is going to give me nightmares tonight, but she looks very healthy, has to be said... just keep her away from me XD

She is. Had a bad molt a while back, ended up with a badly kinked leg. Took a couple of molts but she's finaly corrected it. Now she can stand her full hight.
Very dark brown with creamy stripes on her knees and looks like shes made from suede.

I had 4 tortoises when I was a kid.Found it quite intriguing how different thier "personalities" were! I know,but seriously,we had one escape artist re-named Houdini, who climbed on top of the largest one,when it was in the corner of the enclosure.He was a nightmare to find in the garden.One other was a fighter and a bit of a bully,"butting" the others out of the way.One other, aptly name "Speedy" sprinted everywhere. Bit of a mixed bag really!

Would love a spider but the wife and kids wouldn't have it! "Okay, a nice giant centepede then?" Alot of people are trying to get hold of Brazillian Wandering spiders I believe,wouldn't fancy misplacing one of those badboys
