What a headache trying to find a heated propagator!!!!
Been round 4 local garden centres and they're either out of stock or only got massive expensive ones!!
Even SDCF is out of stock!!

Looks like Google could be in order for today!!!

Well I went to a small garden centre today on the off chance they might have some heated propagators and was pleasantly surprised to have a choice of 4 different type!
Ended up with the Botanico one, also picked up some John Innes no.2 for stage 2.

So I have soaked the seeds in weak tea (no milk!!!), rehydrated the coir plugs and planted the seeds and they are now on the window sill in the heated propagator!
I have 3 twilight and 7 prairie fire, lets see how these get on!

And before we go further just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their advice

You're most welcome! I was a newbie when it came to chillies once too, and now I'm just a newbie in disguise... ;)

I would anticipate that those seeds will be poking their heads above soil within the next few days if you soaked them for long enough. I left mine soaking for several hours, and they were up within a week. The first ones up were the Trinidad Scorpions, which are meant to be tough to germinate. They're thriving!

That's you and I both achieved ultra-fast germination with the tea method. Interesting. :)
