I have noticed a few buds on a couple of my plants- Scotch Bonnets if I remember correctly- and was just wondering how long it would be before they start bearing fruit. A couple of the buds have just start to open.

I find that once the buds have opened they stay open for up to a week and then do one of two things: they either shrivel up and drop off the plant if they haven't been pollinated or, in the case of pollination, the beginnings of a chilli pod push through the flower after a few more days.

Reno when you add the pictures click on the insert button so they are images in the thread rather than attachments

makes it a lot easier for people to see the images then...
