Hello again.
Just recently, my Super F1's have started turning black/purple. They should have started to turn red by now. This has only happened to the plants that I have exposed outside whereas the others in the greenhouses are of a normal colour.
Could this be due to the bright sun? Are they suffering from some sort of sunburn?

many fruits will get a purple "scorching" on them caused by exposure to the sun's rays.it's nothing to worry about & will not affect the flavour or heat of the pod(s).

Hi,

Yes, black/purple marks are a common early sign of rippening.

Cheers, Steve
