The farm is now open 10-4 7 days a week until Christmas.

The South Devon Chilli Farm started in 2003 and has grown steadily to the point where we now grow over 10,000 chilli plants every year and harvest tons of fresh chillies which we sell fresh or use in our range of chilli sauces, preserves and chilli chocolate.
Our farm and shop are open for visitors and as such we are unique in this country. Nowhere else can you come along and wander among the fruiting chilli plants, sample all of the sauces, preserves and chocolate made on the farm and take away chilli seedlings, plants and seeds.
We are mostly open from 10-4 seven days a week, but for weekends between Christmas and Easter, we are closed. As well as the things we make, we also have fresh chillies for sale from July to November and also sell dried and smoked chillies.
Our rise to fame has been well documented in the media with numerous features in national newspapers as well as TV appearances on BBC Gardeners World, BBC Country File, James Wong's "Grow Your Own Drugs" on BBC2, ITV, West Country TV and UKTV Food. We are also recommended by Jamie Oliver as a supplier of chillies. Jamie says "As you know I am a Chilli freak and these guys grow the best in the country".
Most recently you may have seen our chillies featured on the Channel 4 River Cottage Winter Show where Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall used an extensive selection at their Chilli & Pumpkin Festival. We are good friends of River Cottage and often have a stall at their seasonal festivals.
Tom Parker-Bowles, food writer and confirmed chilli lover, has also recommended our products in his regular Mail on sunday Column.
Feel free to browse around our site and learn more about us, we hope you find it rewarding.
We open to visitors every day from 10-4pm, but please note we are closed at weekends between Christmas and Easter.
Our farm shop sells our range of chilli sauces, chilli preserves, dried chillies, fresh chillies (from mid-July) and our famous chilli chocolate products. We also sell chilli seeds and chilli growing products. From mid-April, we sell chilli seedlings and mature chilli pot plants later in the season.
Visitors are welcome to wander around the farm. From July, our show-tunnel has a display of around 100 varieties of chilli plants to enjoy.
