Biquinho is Portuguese for little beak and the chillies on this plant can be said to resemble small bird beaks. This plant produces a mass of teardrop or pearl shaped chilli fruits which hang from the plant like small lanterns. These popular chillies are often found preserved in jars or used on pizzas.

Information

The fruits are sweet and fruity once ripened to red and grow to approx 3.5cm x 2.5cm. A mild/medium heat around 1000 Scoville Heat Units. Average contents 20 seeds.

Biquinho Red Chilli Seeds

Purchased seeds as part of a larger order. Planted in a heated propagator at the end of Feb. The Biquinho seeds took about 10 days longer than the rest to germinate but had a success rate of about 90%. Will definitely be buying more seeds from you next year.
