Chilli Chocolate

A 250g packet of Chilli Drinking chocolate with a hand-painted ceramic mug with a chilli design. A great way to enjoy "the drink that warms you twice".

Ingredients: Biscuit (wheat flour, sugar, vegetable oil, invert sugar syrup, skimmed milk powder, raising agent {E500ii, E503ii}, salt), Chilli Chocolate topping (20%) (of which cocoa solids 60% minimum, sugar, emulsifier: soya lecithin, flavouring: natural vanilla), margarine (vegetable oil, water, salt, natural flavouring), golden syrup, chocolate chips (6%) (sugar, cocoa solids {40% min}, emulsifier: soya lecithin, flavouring: natural vanilla), crisp rice (rice flour, sugar, malt extract, vegetable oil, soya lecithin).

Made with a delicious Belgian Plain Chocolate (60% cocoa); a blend of South Devon Chilli Farm chillies and a good helping of chunky honeycomb. This product is slightly milder than the rest of our range and is already a big hit in our farm shop.

Ingredients: Dark Chocolate (74% - Cocoa solids: 60% minimum), honeycomb: 25%, ground dried chilli: 1%, emulsifier: soya lecithin, natural vanilla. (may contain traces of milk and nuts).

Chilli Honeycomb was developed alongside the Children at Oreston Academy. The Young Enterprise Team (Y.E.T.) was set up last year to work with Local Companies and develop new products. The Y.E.T. have enjoyed visits to the Chilli Farm and are delighted to have helped to develop the Chilli Chocolate. 30p of every online sale will be donated to the Y.E.T. at Oreston.

The combination of chocolate and chillies has been popular in South America and Mexico since the Mayans and Aztecs, and we agree that they go together superbly.

Each bag contains at least 100 grams of chocolate 'wafers'.

Exactly the same weight and package as the original chocolate, but with added orange oil. This new flavour was an experiment for Christmas 2006, but has proved so popular we have made it a permanent addition to our range.

Added for Christmas 2007, this tastes like Christmas pudding with chocolate - and some chilli, of course. This flavour is now the firm-favourite at the farm when we get peckish.

Our new flavour for 2008 - Coffee-Bean.  Developed with the assistance of Richard Hawkins (founder of Hawkins Coffee),  this blend of freshly roasted and ground coffee beans and our chilli chocolate is a wonderful combination.

 

The mint sensation arrives first, then the taste of the wonderful Belgian chocolate and finally the warmth of the chilli. A perfect after-dinner mint with a difference!

Made with a delicious Belgian Plain Chocolate (60% cocoa) and the mighty Bhut Jolokia chilli, our Extreme Chilli Chocolate is just that - on the edge!

This chocolate is hot; much hotter than our other chilli chocolate range. The chocolate and hot chillies together can really lift your mood!
