We have added another range of seeds for 2009 to compliment our range of chilli seeds. These seeds are for herbs, vegetables, sweet peppers and fruits that we also grow on the farm that compliment chillies in the kitchen.

All chilli seed prices are inclusive of postage, but please be aware that there is a minimum order of £6.00 on our website.

Aji Dulce Chilli Seeds (Little to no heat)

A heatless Habanero. Medium-sized, bushy plant (40cm high) with fruits very similar in look and flavour to Habaneros, but with little or no heat. Good for chilli sauce with no heat, but all that Habanero flavour.

Harvest: Pick when they turn red - about 95 days from potting-on.

Heat: none to very little

Chilly Chilli Seeds (F1 - Heatless)

This small (20cm high), attractive plant is a riot of bright orange and red with clusters of heatless fruits maturing to 6cm long. Ideal for children to grow, and good for salads.

Harvest: Pick when they turn red - about 70days from potting-on.

Heat: none to very little

Frigitello Pepper - Sweet Pepper

RHS 'AGM' AWARD WINNER. Frigitello Peppers; famous Neapolitan/Southern Italian pepper often grilled or fried whole and is probably the most well known by Italians of all their peppers. Long, bull horn type peppers.

Very productive plant. The sweet fruits have all the appearance of a hot pepper. Fruits 14cm long.

Average contents: 220 seeds. Sow Feb-May.

Topepo rosso - Sweet Pepper

Topepo rosso means 'red tomato pepper'. This pepper is an RHS 'AGM' AWARD WINNER.

The mature pepper looks like a small beef tomato (fruits 8cm wide) and has a great flavour. This pepper has thick flesh and is ideal for stuffing and grilling. A classic recipe is to stuff with mozzarella and anchovies or meat and grill.

Average contents 225 seeds. Sow in trays from Feb - May, produces a compact and very productive plant.

Cape Gooseberry (related to the Tomatilo)

Edible Physalis producing small sweet, tart orange fruits. Classic to dip in chocolate and serve as petit-fours.

Cape Gooseberry (PERUVIAN PHYSALIS – ALKEKENGI) is easy to grow - upright plant with light green foliage. Produces numerous round fruits which are wrapped inside the classic paper ‘lantern’. They are are harvested at full maturity around July to August. It’s recommended to support the plant with canes. Suitable for growing in containers.
