Chilli Sauces

This is our new hottest sauce! It's a very,very,very hot and fruity chilli sauce made with dried Bhut Jolokia (World Record Holder). This sauce is for those that find most chilli sauces too mild.  There is no chilli extract in this product - it is just Bhut Jolokia chillies, red peppers, cider vinegar, lemon juice and a little salt. This sauce is in our new 100ml sauce bottle.

Heat Rating: 10/10 (300,000-500,000 Scoville Heat Units)

Ingredients: Dried Bhut Jolokia chillies (imported  - 50% once rehydrated), red peppers, cider vinegar, fresh lemon juice, salt.

Single-Variety Chilli Sauce - 'Habanero'

This used to be our hottest sauce, but has now been surpassed by the Bhut Jolokia chilli sauce.  This Habanero sauce is hot and fruity - made with 50% fresh habaneros. It's ideal for adding heat and flavour to spicy dishes, and a few drops go a long way when used as a table condiment (as served on the table at Wahaca Mexican Restaurant, Covent Garden).

Single-Variety Chilli Sauce - 'Jalapeno'

Our Jalapeno chilli sauce has the distinctive lemon-flavour of Jalapenos in abundance. Jalapeno sauce can be used with most savoury food, but it is particularly good on pasta, rice dishes, pizza, nachos and cheese-on-toast.

Heat Rating: 5/10 (3,000-4,000 Scoville Heat Units)

Ingredients: Fresh Jalapeno chillies from our farm (50%), cider vinegar, fresh lemon juice, salt.

This sauce has a great flavour, guaranteed by the mix of 15 different types of chilli from our farm. It has a medium heat with a lemony twang and goes with anything; it is particularly good with, pasta, rice, nachos or cheese-on-toast.

The Ring-of-Fire chilli is a variety of the Cayenne chilli type. This sauce is hotter than the 'Jalapeno sauce', but not as hot as the ‘Hot Habanero’ sauce so it can be used as a table sauce and to cook with. Great flavour.

Ingredients: Fresh Ring-of-Fire chillies (50%), cider vinegar, fresh lemon juice, salt.

Single-Variety Chilli Sauce - 'Aji'

Aji (pronounced aa-hee) is a Peruvian chilli with plenty of lemony flavour.

Heat Rating: 6/10 (4,000-5,000 Scoville Heat Units)

Ingredients: Fresh Aji Limon Chillies from our farm (50%), cider vinegar, fresh lemon juice, salt.

Single-Variety Chilli Sauce - 'Serrano'

Serrano (pronounced cer-ran-oh) is a Mexican chilli that shares certain characteristics with the Jalapeno, but is a little hotter. This table sauce is made with fresh Serrano chillies picked green.

Heat Rating: 5/10 (3,000-4,000 Scoville Heat Units)

Ingredients: Fresh Serrano Chillies from our farm (50%), cider vinegar, fresh lemon juice, salt.

This is our sweet chilli sauce - mild to medium hot Try it as a dip or added to a stir-fry, rice dishes or a warm salad.

Ingredients: Cider vinegar, organic sugar, garlic, dried red chillies and fresh chillies from our farm.

Container: Glass bottle with tamper-evident seal.

This medium-hot, traditional Mexican sauce is made with our oak-smoked Jalapenos (Chipotles) and goes very well with eggs and chicken. Try it with poached eggs or in a chicken wrap. This sauce can also be added to sour cream to make a great dip.
