Covid 19 Situation - Updates
Please note, we are operating with reduced numbers of staff in order to aid social distancing, so there may be some delays in responding to your emails and phone calls but we will get back to you as soon as possible.
We are shipping online orders as soon as possible and in most cases, with our usual level of service and timescales, but please be aware that Royal Mail are experiencing some delays in their deliveries due to increased numbers of online orders at this time.
Whilst our farm shop remains closed, we have added a Click and Collect service. Place your order on the website, and select 'Collect from the farm' as the delivery option. You will receive an email when the order is in the Customer Collection box outside the farm shop door - usually orders placed on a weekday (Mon - Fri), will be ready for collection the day after you place the order. Orders can be collected from 9am to 4.00pm all week - please drive through the staff/deliveries entrance if the customer gate is closed.
Our office and mail order departments are open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm, excluding Bank Holidays.
We pride ourselves on the high level of customer service we offer and we hope you will agree. Please let us know if you have any difficulties shopping online with us.
Delivery / Shipping Timings
We aim, but cannot guarantee, for orders to be shipped from the farm on the next working day after the order is placed; for example, orders received Monday to Thursday are shipped on the day after they are received but orders received Friday to Sunday are shipped on the following Monday. Occasionally, on quiet days we may ship orders on the same day that they are received.
Orders shipped with DPD courier are delivered the next working day after they are shipped and are tracked.
Orders shipped with Royal Mail 1st class, are delivered 1 - 5 days after they are shipped and are not tracked.
Weekends and Bank Holidays: our shipping department is closed at weekends and on Bank holidays - orders will be shipped the next working day.
UK orders: Depending on the items that you have ordered, you can choose a delivery option from Royal Mail First Class post or a courier service (DPD). Please note, our courier service is a 24hour Monday to Friday service which requires a signature on delivery.
If your order weighs over 3kg then the DPD courier will be automatically selected as your delivery service and there will be no Royal Mail option.
For UK-offshore: orders are shipped using a FedEx 2/3day service or DPD 2/4days (depending on country).
For Europe: orders are shipped using Royal Mail Signed-for for orders upto 2kg, and DPD/FedEx for heavier orders.
Rest of the World: unfortunately at the moment, we are unable to ship to areas outside of Europe.
Our Royal Mail shipping costs for UK addresses are currently: £1.00 for seed-only orders and £3.75 for all other orders. If your order weighs over 3.25Kg then "DPD signed-for service" is automatically selected and the shipping costs will increase to DPD delivery rates (£5.00).
Currently, if your order exceeds £35 for a UK mainland address, then shipping is free of charge.
Shipping costs for non-UK mainland addresses are determined by weight and destination.
The shipping costs will be finalised when you go to checkout or you can check them at the Basket stage.
To check the shipping costs at the Basket stage:
• Add the items to your Basket
• Go to "View Basket"
• At Shipping costs, Select "Calculate"
• Enter "Country and County/Province" details
• Select "Get Rates"
DPD is automatically selected for packages weighing over 3.25kg.
