This variety originates in Peru. About 3 inches long, slightly wrinkled and yellow.
This heavy cropping and easy-to-grow Peruvian variety grows into a large, drooping plant with fruits 6-8cm long that ripen to bright yellow. The fresh fruit has a distinctive citrus flavour.
This variety originates from Peru. About 4 inches long, yellow then red. They are medium to hot with a distinctive citrus taste. Good in light dishes such as fish or chicken. We sell these chillies 'yellow' in the early season and red later in the year. The citrus flavour is also very nice in a fresh salsa.
Recipe1: Chop 1 Aji chilli very finely and sprinkle into a chicken stir-fry and cook-in for a few minutes.
Recipe2: Salsa - Chop 1 Aji chilli very finely and add to chopped tomatoes, chopped coriander leaves and a squeeze of lemon.

The Bhut Jolokia (A.k.a. Naga Jolokia or Ghost) was officially measured at over one million Scoville Heat Units (SHU) in 2006.
Bhut Jolokia (aka. Naga or Ghost) is an Extremely HOT chilli with a fruity, smokey flavour.
Use very sparingly - handle with care and wash hands after use. Take care not to inhale or get in the eyes - you may want to consider our chilli handling kit with this one!
An early, bright red cherry-style chilli maturing from green to red, 5cm-wide fruits. Thick-walled chilli growing on a medium-sized plant (40cm) - perfect for pickling or stuffing with cheese as an appetizer.
The largest of New Mexican varieties, this chilli has pods up to 30cm long that weigh as much as 100g. Their size makes them a favourite for chilli rellenos. Plant 50cm high.

Biquinho is Portuguese for little beak and the chillies on this plant can be said to resemble small bird beaks. This plant produces a mass of teardrop or pearl shaped chilli fruits which hang from the plant like small lanterns. These popular chillies are often found preserved in jars or used on pizzas.
A very attractive plant with purple foliage and flowers, and round or cone-shaped fruit ripening from deep purple to red. Hot fruits on a 30cm-high, bushy plant. Fruits can be chopped finely and added to cooking.

This variety from Bulgaria is well suited to the short UK growing season. It produces a good crop of hot fruits that ripen from green to orange. The fruits grow to 3 - 4 inches long with smooth and glossy skin and are hot with a fruity flavour. The plant grows to 2' high.
The Carolina Reaper has been measured at over 2 million scoville units and is the hottest chilli we currently grow.
These are larger than normal cherry chillies and very thick fleshed, very much like a plum tomato. These are one of our favourites, hotter than normal cherries, great for stuffing with cheese and a wonderful flavour. Normally available late July to the end of November.
This is a hugely popular and versatile chilli that is also very easy to grow. The plant produces an abundance of eye-catching bright red fleshy fruits (5cm round) which mature in around 60 days from potting on. They can be stuffed with cheese and baked, or used for cooking and fresh salsa.
