Ring of Fire is a hot cayenne type which is very quick to mature. We grow a lot of these on the farm and it is always the first hot chilli to ripen.
This is one of our favourite varieties - easy to grow, amazingly productive, early cropping and a well proportioned and attractive bush.
The famous Scotch Bonnet is named for its resemblance to a Tam o'shanter hat. The flavour is similar to other 'Habanero' types and the fruits are used to make hot sauces throughout the Caribbean.
This is a traditional Mexican salsa chilli; they look like slender Jalapenos, but are a little hotter.

Long cylindrical fruits, tapering to a point. Fruits ripen from yellow to red. Final size: 18cm long, 4cm wide. Great for grilling and usually used when yellow. Plant 40cm high.
This is the chilli used in the famous sauce of the same name. The plant grows into an upright bush to a height of about 1 metre. The small fruits (25mm long) start yellow and mature slowly to red.
This is the original wild Mexican chilli from which most modern chillies originate. It is notorious for being difficult to germinate, but we have not had a problem.
Extremely hot variety originally from Thailand. Plants become covered with 1-1/2 inch long peppers that are green at first but ripen to red.
