Prairie Fire Chilli Seeds

Germinated 5 of these recently using the paper towel method. All 5 germinated successfully within 8 days, although they were among the slowest of the species I have germinated this year. A couple have been slow to get going post-germination, possibly due to one having crinkled leaves and another strangely having only one cotyledon, but all are currently healthy and developing healthy looking first sets of leaves. Thanks.
First year growing a variety of different chillies, this one was one of the first to fruit. I have some in my greenhouse and more on the windowsill in my office, all plants are very compact at about 25cm high. Loads of full of upwards facing fruits that are about 1-2cm in size on all of the plants, and they are continually flowering. The chillies are surprisingly hot, but with a fruity taste before the burn kicks in. Perfect for those with limited space requiring a chilli that adds a nice even heat to meals.
Highly recommended - Huge crop from 6 plants and the chillies freeze well in a paper bag.
I bought these a few years ago, and have started germinating some more this year.

They're a great chilli plant to grow, very easy, and compact which means they are happy on a kitchen window sill.

And, crikey are they hot! I normally finely chop just one and throw it into a chilli con carne for a nice even heat, if you want hotter, just throw a couple in... don't be too daring with these, they suffer from small chilli syndrome, which means they are very feisty for their size!

Fingers crossed my 3 year old seeds will still be OK to geminate!
I've grown these every year since starting about 3 or 4 years ago...In the Cornish climate (There's not always that much light in the greenhouse) these have never disappointed yield-wise so a safe one to grow...Certainly rather hot and will grow well in a kitchen windowsill. Were still fruiting in December...There are hotter chillis out there, but for ease of growth, versus yield size, versus heat - these are great. Quite an aggressive heat too.
